Description

Our Client, an online Real Estate Firm is seeking to recruit a Digital Marketing Assistant to be based in Lusaka.

Job Summary
The candidate will be in charge of developing a distinct online presence by attracting high numbers of internet followers through social media channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a monthly social media and blogging calendar, and ensure that content is available for posting in good time
  • Suggest creative ideas to increase the social media profile of the company and the brand
  • Engage and build an online community using the company’s social media platforms
  • Grow the company’s data base of Zambians living abroad
  • Work with videographer in creating video content for online use  
  • Assist in weekly newsletter creation, execution and review
  • Engage in social listening to come up with ideas that will engage our target audience of Zambians in the diaspora
  • Create scripts for live videos and youtube channel, transcribe videos and/ or audio files
  • Research free online directories to generate inbound links for SEO
  • Research potential partnership opportunities with Zambian communities abroad and embassy contact persons as well as other potential partners
  • Liaise with developers in company’s portfolio on property updates

Qualification and Experience

  • Mass comm degree and/ or journalist or equivalent
  • 2 years experience in researching, writing and presenting stories.
  • strong verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
  • excellent written communication skills for producing high quality content
  • attention to detail and accuracy
  • the ability to work independently and flexibly
  • the capacity to prioritize and work across multiple projects
  • the ability to work as part of a team
